Roblox has not published an official map list on the events feed. Two naming sets are in circulation and this guide does not pretend they are the same places.
A September 21 walkthrough uses World Kingdom, One-way Field and Open Field. Later recordings are titled Thermopylae and Plains. Use the in-game name when you are standing on the map. Use the entrance count either way.
World Kingdom
Described as an open fortress with several entrances. Attackers should feint one door and enter another. Defenders should not stack the whole army on one point; leave a mobile troop for the gap and put archers where one shot covers two lanes. Scout Rider, Lancer and Flaming Archers are the troops that walkthrough names for this shape.
One-way Field
A single narrow lane and one objective. Attackers stack instead of splitting, shields first, ranged troops after the first volley is caught. Defenders who step out of the choke give up the only advantage they had. Shieldman, Imperial Wall, Archer and Flaming Archers are the named tools. Once the attackers have a pile in the lane they are hard to push back out.
Open Field
No cover. Cavalry is the attack plan: flanks first, then the middle, with ranged troops moving beside shields rather than alone. Defenders keep archers in the back and fall back to them when flanked. Scout Rider, Lancer and Samurai are the names attached to this layout.
Thermopylae, as recorded on October 1
The creator calls it an attack map rather than a defender fortress. The attack roster in that video is cavalry, a line holder, a halberdier and archers behind the line. One spawn cannot be blocked because of an invisible wall, and a second opening can hit from the rear. Defenders are told to leave a blocked point and protect the respawn instead of fighting a sealed door.
Plains, as recorded on September 25
Called a cavalry map. The advice is cavalry plus anti-cavalry, and not archers, because there is nowhere to hide them. Halberdiers are said to be too slow to win a camp race by themselves. One point on that recording cannot be captured, which is why the creator calls the attacking side favored.
Rules that keep showing up
- One entrance: do not split. Shields in front, ranged behind.
- Several entrances: commit to one lane and scout the others.
- No cover: the rider is more useful than another archer.
- A point next to your spawn can be reinforced all game. A point in the middle belongs to whoever arrives with numbers.
- Holding the middle of a defended point keeps you out of the direct arrow and javelin line, according to the same walkthroughs.
- Lancer is called unable to climb. Do not assign it to a wall defense.
Ranked, in Update 2 creator explanations, assigns the map and the side for a single round. A loadout that only attacks is a coin flip. Build the generalist version in the star-limit guide before you queue.
