What is Hammer?
Hammer is the heavy-hit class. Community counter notes list it as the commander answer to shields. A class video describes a slow swing that is good into clustered Spartans and spear militias, sometimes paired with Berserker by that creator. The class does not replace the Mace or Halberdier troop.

How do you use Hammer?
Take it when your losses are shield walls and you are willing to swing slowly. Skip it if your problem is archers on a flank. Assassin or a Lancer solves that problem. Hammer does not.
