What is Sword & Shield?

Sword & Shield is the beginner default in written guides and class videos. The shield keeps you alive while you learn troop orders. One creator calls it the highest-health and most rounded of the original three. It does not require you to equip Shieldman.

How much does a class change cost?

A September beginner guide and a September 11 class video both say 50 Gems. That is the same currency as summons, so repeated changes compete with duplicates.

Is the Archer class the Archer troop?

No. Archer is a 1-star troop you can equip today. The Archer class is an official event from October 17 to October 24, 2026, described only as a new player class.
